Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Caplet Serum

I'm always eager to sample new products, but face products always make me nervous, as I'm pretty lazy with my skincare routine. However, when I saw the Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Caplet Serum from Elizabeth Arden in my Vitality Vox Box, I was pretty excited to give it a shot as I knot it is a high quality brand.

Bedtime couldn't come soon enough; I ran to the bathroom to remove my makeup and apply the serum. 
As I pumped the serum out, I noticed a shimmer, which I'm not a fan of in most products. Still, I slapped in on my face. I didn't really feel any tingling, drying, tightening... anything. It just felt like I rubbed some watery goop on my face. At least it wasn't heavy or cakey feeling? After letting it dry completely, I observed it a bit more closely. The shimmer was still there, and truthfully that was a disappointment. It isn't subtle; it's an obvious trick to make skin look brighter by adding reflective pigments (shimmer) onto the skin. I did notice that my skin felt very smooth though, so I can't say the product was a total dud. Not sure if the product will really help fight signs of aging, but it will at least help smooth the skin.
Overall, I wasn't impressed. I suppose it will be nice for those with normal skin who are just looking to have a nice base to work from.

Bikini Ready Energy Gummies

These Bikini Ready Energy Gummies came in my Vitality Vox Box. I'm pretty leery of most vitamins that claim to 'boost' anything, but they were sent to me to test, so I did just that. The package I received contained one serving, which was two gummies. 

When I opened the pack, my mouth instantly started to water, they smelled juicy and tangy, which I love. The orange one that I ate tasted pretty good, but had a bit of a bitter aftertaste. I much preferred the purple gummy, which didn't have the aftertaste, but was just as yummy. The gummies were a bit tougher than the average (gummy) bear, but not so tough that I couldn't chew them within a few seconds. Unfortunately, the sample size was too small for me to notice any real changes, but I can say I felt an extra spring in my step after I ate them. Could've been the gummies, or it may have been the weather; I'd say they are worth another shot.

Softlips Cube

One of the items I received in my Vitality Vox Box was the Softlips Cube in Pmegranate Blueberry flavor. I wasn't sure if I would like this product as I already have a favorite go-to lip-balm that I couldn't imagine parting with. Still, I find myself reaching for this one in particular now.

The pros:

• The round shaped balm makes application very easy. It just seems to make it easier to coat my lips in one quick swipe.
• The cubed container itself makes it much harder to lose this bad boy. At first I wasn't sure about it, thinking it may be awkward to hold, but it actually isn't. Why is this a pro? It doesn't roll away. Ever. I've tossed this thing around a bit (as I do with all my important items, i.e., lip balm, bobby pins, pens, hair ties, everything else that I always lose), and haven't had it roll under any sofas, or off of any tables. 
• The actual lip balm is wonderful. It doesn't feel heavy, but it does feel like it's working. It's smooth and glossy, without feeling sticky. I also noticed a tingly sensation when put it on, almost like when putting on a mint infused balm. 
• The taste and smell is pleasant, but not overpowering.

The cons:

• It does seem a bit small for my liking. I'm afraid I'll use it up too quickly!
• Not many flavor choices (yet). This will likely (hopefully) change as the product line grows.

I received the Vitality VoxBox from Influenster today! I was pleasantly surprised at the number of full size products in this sample box.
